My name is Nicole Weiss, and I’m a therapist in private practice in San Diego. Here’s some information about me that I hope will help you decide whether I’d be a good fit for you.

I received my Masters in Social Work from San Diego State University in 1998, and worked as a a social worker, case manager and a school counselor before launching into my private practice as a psychotherapist in 2002. My passion is working with people to figure out how to change their lives. I love what I do. I continue to learn about how we work, and love bringing the mind-body connection into my work.

I’ve had a wide variety of life experiences that I think help me work with a wide variety of people. I worked and studied in Japan and Costa Rica. I studied yoga for a short time in India, and continue a weekly yoga practice to this day.

I’m also married and the mother of two children – these experiences continue to teach me about life, relationship and myself.
